BIOGRAFIA DELL'AUTRICE
Lisa Kleypas è nata in Texas, Stati Uniti nel 1964. E' autrice di romanzi rosa storici e contemporanei.
Ha sempre amato leggere, soprattutto il genere romance. Ha cominciato a scrivere i suoi romanzi durante la pausa estiva dallo studio di scienze politiche al Wellesley College.
I suoi genitori hanno deciso di sostenerla per alcuni mesi dopo la laurea in modo che potesse terminare il suo manoscritto. Circa due mesi dopo, a 21 anni, la Kleypas ha venduto il suo primo romanzo.
Circa nello stesso periodo, è stata nominata Miss Massachusetts.
E' una scrittrice di romanzi rosa a tempo pieno e i suoi romanzi scalano la vetta delle classifiche, ha venduto milioni di copie in tutto il mondo e i suoi libri sono stati tradotti in quattordici lingue differenti.
Lisa vive a Washington con il marito e i loro due figli.
